The Parents and Community Build Group is working with the Allston-Brighton community to build and strengthen our community by improving the quality of life for all of the residents in our neighborhood.
We support inclusive, non-political neighborhood organizations and community groups that are requesting assistance, through volunteer and educational assistance, community visibility, and empowerment through a unified voice.
We are the registered 501c3 non-profit business that sponsors the Ringer Park Partnership Group.
Organized on December 16, 2004 for the purpose of establishing a Community Build Project, our first project was fundraising to support the construction of Tot Lot Playground at Ringer Park in Allston. The Parents & Community Build Group is responsible for the state-of-the-art Tot Lot Playground design and its additional funding. The PCBG is also responsible for raising over $130,000.00 in fundraising assetts, and securing an additional $90,000 in playground equipment discounts.
There are no membership fees. Everyone is welcome to attend meetings, and everyone's participation, comments, and ideas are appreciated. Both the Parents & Community Build Group and the Ringer Park Partnership Group are facilitated in the same manner, with mutual respect, complete inclusion, and the community vote process.
